ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Mu-Allah Yidi Arabic Secondary School Maradun was established in 1993, three years before Zamfara State was carved out of Sokoto State during the reign of Malam Yahaya Abdulkarim who was elected as governor of Sokoto State,  between January 1992 and November 1993,under General Ibrahim Babangida's
attempted transition to democracy. Despite few insfrastructures and students enrolment at the initial phase, the school's excellent academic achievements in both secular and non secular subjects won the hearts of parents and guardians so much that students enrolment grew to an unprecedented level.

Not Much later in the year 2000, the first set of students enrolled made an amazing history by participating and winning first position in the competition organized by Mathematical Centre Abuja.
In 2005, Mu-Allah Yidi Arabic Secondary School Maradun was rated number one for having the best result in NECO examination in Zamfara State.

Two years later, in 2007 our noble institution participated in M.S.S organised quiz and essay competition held at G.G.A.S.S Gusau and won prizes for second position. Today, M.A.S.S Maradun is one of the most structured and well-equipped school in Zamfara State and a salient landmark in Maradun.
